The Process Of Tying A Head Turban

By Lela Perkins

Scarves are made from soft cloth and are used to cover the top most part of the body by wounding it up around. This may be various reasons one the wearer has. Religious beliefs, fashion sense and for uniform purposes are examples of reasons why one may use them. Scarves are worn by both women and men. Children do wear the head turban upon guidance from parents or guardians.

The covering gear is traced back in ancient times where it is traditionally worn by communities in the world. Asia is a major consumer of this clothing and parts of Horn of Africa. It is worn in South Asia by the Sikhs and Muslims for religious purpose. The Swahili coast of Kenya and Tanzania is known for the use of scarves.

The folded bun of hair should be at the fore place. Get a small cloth like cap. This serves as a holding fabric to the hair. Tucking the exposed parts of hair in it, carefully cover all loose ends except the side burns. The fabric should then be fitted on top of that bun like hair. Make sure the excess piece of the scarf is at the nape of the neck. Straighten the creases making sure that it is somehow tight.

By being ready, start by tying scarf around the skull in a diagonal manner. You should start from the bottom part of the hair, covering any exposed part of any fabric. This is done making sure that the scarf lays on the previous layers of the cloth. One is to do this for around seven times depending on the size of clothing.

Hair gears do represent the social class of these individuals that use them. They are made in various sizes and shape to suite the individual. They sometimes show nobility mostly in North African communities representing the class that one comes from. It is a tool used to segregate the low and upper castes. Hindu and Muslim high ranking leaders do wear hair scarf to show the authority vested in them.

Once you have done all that, take time to look at yourself in the mirror. This way, one has time to make all the necessary changes and corrections. One can also use accessories to decorate the headgear. This headgear can be used as protective clothing for insulation during the cold seasons.

Scarves can be designed and decorated according to the needs of a user. Embroideries and patterns are made to make it look attractive when worn. They are custom made with allowances left out for additional embroidering upon the request if a customer.

Materials used in making a head turban are well developed as they are thin and of high quality. Soft and comfortable cuff caps are most suitable for areas with cold climate as thick and high quality fabric is used. A more natural appeal is felt when used complimenting the hair wear wardrobe. Fantastic hair gears offer so much versatility and by tying them on the hair gives one a whole new look.
