Computers, Communications, & The Subject Of Bobby Jain

By Rob Sutter

In July of 1889, Nippon Electric Company predicted that there would be a sense of integration between computers and communications. You may not think that this is a great prediction now but computers back then were not nearly the same as ones right now. They were in seemingly their infantile stages and speaking to someone else had to be done through methods which aren't as utilized as readily, letters being one example. It's clear to everyone - and Bobby Jain will tell you - that NEC was more than right.

I cannot say for sure but I'm sure that those before the 1900's never would have imagined that we would have been able to attain the kinds of advancements we have seen in this day and age. Instead of tablets with touchscreens, we would have to rely on books which are hundreds of pages long. Instead of word processor programs to type up words, a pen and paper would be the only two options allowed and we would have to make certain such items were taken advantage of.

Security has seemingly been increased as well and this can be seen in a number of ways. Employers can be more secure knowing that the choices they make in the hiring process are not nearly as risky, especially when you consider that social media has grown into such a phenomenon over the past few years. Back then, though such pages did not exist and you did not have access to nearly as much information. Being able to pick the best workers is, in my eyes, an easier process.

The increase of technology has been linked to a number of jobs, the work of Bobby Jain being one such name to take into account. Banking is the kind of work which requires the greatest kind of technology available and software has to be up to date. Consumers are going to want the best service and there aren't many other ways in which this can be seen. They will soon find just how substantial the work of such names as Robert Jain can prove to be.

NEC definitely made one of the best predictions and it goes to show just how great computers have become for a number of reasons. These devices are, in my opinion, some of the best and I feel like this goes far beyond the aspect of communication. However, this has proven to be a great function of a variety of devices which have intricate interfaces to their names. Those who cannot get onboard with these particular methods will, in my mind at least, be left behind.
